We are looking for a character designer to work remotely on creating flat artwork (hand drawn or simple computer work) for a family of characters. The final characters will be built and then animated in 3d, so we would expect the artist to eventually make turnarounds of their characters. We will need to see samples of work, and the job will go to the person we feel whose style most closely fits what we are looking for. As this is a development project we would expect to pay a daily rate for designs until they are correct rather than a one-off fee.
