Atomic has created the visual effects on many interesting projects. We have experience working on feature films, shorts and of course tv drama, documentaries and television commercials. We are used to working with directors and helping to make their ideas come alive on screen. Using dynamic 3d animatics and carefull shot planning along with on-set shot supervision we can seemlessly blend live action and CGI. Atomic is proud to count many US channels, all the UK terrestrial channels, and many UK advertising agencies amongst an ever increasing list of its satified clients.

We then moved a virtual sun over the scene, and rendered it at three different times of day – dawn, noon, and dusk. We then created multiple layers of animations that would be triggered by the user to make the scene come alive. All of the animated layers were assembled in flash, where the carbon output calculations were also programmed.
The site, which you can see online if you click on the image above, was launched in late 2007, and soon after won a silver medal in the prestigious DMA awards. It proved to be so popular that we were recently asked to reversion the entire piece so that it looked like a Welsh suburb.
