Atomic has created the visual effects on many interesting projects. We have experience working on feature films, shorts and of course tv drama, documentaries and television commercials. We are used to working with directors and helping to make their ideas come alive on screen. Using dynamic 3d animatics and carefull shot planning along with on-set shot supervision we can seemlessly blend live action and CGI. The Real ER
Atomic Arts was commissioned to create the graphics to show for each case what the doctor's possible diagnoses were. This was done by digitally tracking live footage of the patient as he was being examined by the doctor. We would then match move a virtual 3d representation of the patients internal body, and 'enter the body' by seamlessly transitioning from the real patient into the CG body. Zooming in, we would dissolve away the layers to find and then show the possible problem, and the respective solution. In this way the viewer could easily see what kind of life-risking decisions these doctors have to make every day.
