Rise of the Planet of the Apes

This spring, Atomic Arts completed work on over 20 VFX shots for 20th Century Fox’s reboot of the Planet of the Apes franchise, which was released this summer and went on to become an box office smash, grossing half a billion dollars worldwide so far.  Director Rupert Wyatt is a long-term Atomic collaborator; his previous film, The Escapist (qv), was not only supervised but also had all its VFX entirely realised by the team at Atomic. 

Rise of the Planet of the Apes 2 (hopefully it won't be called that!) has been scheduled to commence shooting in the coming summer 2012 and Atomic are looking forward to helping out again on this exciting sequel.
