Atomic Arts is proud to have created a multitude of effects heavy sequences for the first and flagship programme in Discovery Channel's new CURIOSITY strand, which was simulcast on August 7th 2011 across Discovery Networks including Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Science, Planet Green, Investigation Discovery and Fit & Health. In the programme the biggest mystery of the universe is posed by the biggest name in science:  Professor Stephen Hawking asks, ‘Did God Create the Universe?’  Blending cutting-edge CGI with unparalleled scholarship, Hawking traces the ancient discoveries of Galileo to the scientific breakthroughs of Einstein in arguing that the simple properties of our universe far outweigh the possibility of the invisible hand of God. And who did that cutting edge CGI? Why, Atomic Arts of course..!

Atomic Arts created around 50 shots for this first episode in the Stephen Hawking Series, produced by Endemol's Specialist Factual arm, Darlow Smithson Productions. We are at present working on many sequences for two further episodes: The Meaning of Life, and The Theory of Everything - big titles for big VFX!
